Thanks to its AI-assisted boundary recognition, there’s no need for a physical boundary wire – the mower intelligently identifies working areas, no-go zones, and virtual walls for smooth, uninterrupted mowing. Multi-zone functionality allows you to set up to eight different corridors or zones via the app, giving you greater control over how your lawn is maintained. The All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system enhances traction and manoeuvrability, allowing the X5 to tackle various terrains with confidence and stability.
The X5 is equipped with five motors – one for cutting and four for movement – ensuring a reliable and consistent mowing experience. It features a 22cm cutting width and a manually adjustable cutting height from 20–60mm, with modes like Standard, Custom, and Traceless to suit your lawn’s condition. Cutting patterns such as Deep, Balance, and Efficient, along with an edging function, provide precise results along borders and corners.
With built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and app control, managing your mower is simple and intuitive. The X5 also includes smart home compatibility via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and benefits from over-the-air firmware updates (FOTA) to keep it current. A combination APP + LED display with keypad offers convenient manual operation when needed.
Built to handle New Zealand’s varied weather, the X5 boasts a waterproof rating of IPX5, while the charger is rated at IPX7. It runs quietly at just 59 dB(A), and the 5.0Ah Samsung lithium battery provides efficient performance with an average runtime of 90 minutes. Safety features include a PIN code lock, tilt and lift sensors, and a rain sensor, while eco mode and 4G+GPS capability further enhance efficiency and connectivity.
